After a rental, both owners and renters can leave honest reviews and a star rating. These ratings appear on member profiles and listings, giving the whole community a transparent track record to rely on before agreeing to a rental.

Owners can set a refundable security deposit on their listings to cover loss, theft, or damage beyond fair wear and tear. The deposit amount and conditions are shown up front so renters know exactly what is expected before they request an item.

If something goes wrong, members can raise a dispute through the Platform. Our moderation team reviews the details from both sides and helps work towards a fair resolution. We always recommend trying to resolve things directly through secure messaging first.

Every listing and profile includes a Report option. If you see something that looks unsafe, misleading, or against our standards, report it and our team will review it confidentially. Reports help us keep the marketplace clean for everyone.

Members can verify their email, phone, and identity. Verification badges appear on profiles and listings so you can see at a glance how much a member has confirmed about themselves. New members are clearly marked so the community knows to build trust over time.

Everyone on The Lend Loop is expected to:

• be honest in listings, messages, and reviews;
• treat other members with respect;
• only list items they own and are legally allowed to rent;
• never list prohibited, unsafe, or illegal items;
• look after rented items and return them on time;
• keep communication and payments transparent.

Meet in safe, public places where possible, inspect items at handover, agree condition and return expectations in writing through messaging, and keep your dealings on the Platform so there is a clear record. If anything feels wrong, stop and contact us.
